Animal Crackers
Animal crackers, and cocoa to drink. That is the finest of suppers, I think; when I'm grown up and can have what I please I think I shall always insist upon these.

Go For It!
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Heroes
True heroism is remarkably sober, very undramatic. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others at whatever cost.
Arthur Ashe
The hero of the future will be that individual with the great mission to overcome the mass feeling of alienation and self-inadequacy. He will recognize that this struggle starts not with his community, nor even with his principal organization, but rather it starts with himself.

Thriller in LibraryLand
Michael Jackson's Thriller (complete with bookcarts!) performed by the National Library of Australia Staff at their 2008 Christmas Party.
Awesome -- and yes they must be new carts -- all I could think was that really wouldn't work with some of the carts at my library unless you greased them real well.
It also made me of think back to college when we had cart races late at night in the library...fun times!

English Rhyme
For want of a nail, the shoe was lost. For want of the shoe, the horse was lost. For want of the horse, the rider was lost. For want of the rider, the battle was lost. For want of the battle, the kingdom was lost. And all for the want of a horseshoe nail!

Harmony
Be grace. Wield love as your only weapon, and you place yourself on the path to self-mastery, bountiful blessings and the perfect peace we are all longing for.
